I have been looking at spider pictures for a week. I think it may be a brown recluse of some sort. hoping not but I do live in next to the woods on two side of property rite where this was found

Hi, this is a species of long-jawed orbweaver, Leucauge venusta. The common name is Orchard Orbweaver. They aren’t dangerous. The female will stay where she makes her web. The males travel looking for females. Her primary prey is large flying insects.

Thank you, makes me feel alot better. Ill post other pictures here as it seems i have every species there is. lol I hated to state i thought it was poisonous as i know everyone does. this one had me puzzled … Thanks again
