I have no clue. I just know that whilst I was enjoying a cigarette, this critter was jumping/skipping across the floor near my foot and my first instinct was to kill it. I’m greatly terrified of spiders and hope it’s not a brown recluse. I’m terrible at identifying spiders

PS: Was a bit larger than a quarter I’d say about 1-2cm more

Looks like a grass spider to me- but I’m no expert, I’m sure he’ll be identified soon!
