This looks like one of the False Widow Spiders, one of the Steatoda species in the family Theridiidae.
Thanks for your identification. I got a better picture and found that it may be a lace weaver spider Anaurobiys similes. What do you think.

This spider was found in a house on Cape Breton Island. Seems it’s seen more of the world than I have.
