Not sure what he or she is, but it likes it near our back door righr by our dryer. Hasn't really moved but in the morning when I open the door, it disappears for a while then it's back hanging out.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a False Widow (Steatoda sp.). This is the underside of the spider, to narrow the ID down further with certainty it would help to see the dorsal side of the spider.

Correct, it’s the under side. Never comes out the other way for reason. Oddly one of its nicknames is kitchen widow, out laundry is back portion of our kitchen
