Comments & ID Thoughts
couldn't hazard a guess honestly. small orb weaver, seen by me on the web during the day and at night. tan color all over, prominent black stripe and 4 "dimples" on dorsal side of abdomen. brown strip with small white triangular spot on ventral side. black spot on rear end, slightly more on the ventral side--roughly where the stinger would be on a bee. subtle striping in shades of brown/tan on legs. body style along the lines of an araneus or neoscona species, with large round abdomen. roughly 2/3 the length of a lacewing fly. web about 3-4ft off the ground and maybe a foot or so in diameter.
