We think it was a brown recluse? Bit my mom twice and she had severe swelling and pain, but so far okay, (it's only been 20 hrs post bite). We found two of them behind the couch and two dead ones behind an outlet cover.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a Plectreurys species. Sorry to hear about the bite, they’re not known to be of medical significance to people – everyone’s immune system is different though and I don’t know how well documented human reactions to bites from these spiders actually are. I hope she has a quick and uneventful recovery. Thanks for sharing, it’s not one I see everyday.
