Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is a Dark Fishing Spider, Dolomedes tenebrosus.
Cool. Thanks!
Just a note, these big active hunters will eat the daylights out of recluse if their paths cross.
I had white banded fishing spiders in Florida, and they ate everything but the huntsman spiders.
These are the biggest spiders ive ever seen in ohio. They scare me to death when i come across them. I live on 2 acres and seen about 4 last summer, one Giant in my bathroom and its almost like they have claws because you can hear them clicking across the floor eeeek.
They are definitely large and intimidating, but there are few spiders you’d rather have around for pest control.
