Hi, nothing to fear here. This is a Noble Cobweaver, Steatoda nobilis. She’s a relatively big one. They look similar to Widows because they are in the same family. These spiders don’t have venom that is dangerous to you though. They are dangerous to other spiders and insects. Another common name for them is False Widows. The word “false” is important. Some of them can kill real Widow spiders. I think they can kill cockroaches and ticks too. They stay in enclosed dark places. NOT because they are planning a surprise ambush on an unsuspecting human.
