I am no expert by any means but my thought was male canopy although not often in NJ. I have other pics but can’t figure out how to upload. It is smaller than a penny, my guesstimate is about 8mm.

Thank you! Do you think it’s a male? The palps seem big? And he is missing a leg and hasn’t had a molt/regrown the leg so I thought older? All speculation just want to learn, any help is appreciated!
Might be an immature male, not sure I’m seeing it right.
