Giant house spider, I think male? I kept him as a pet for about 10 months until he passed a couple months ago. Photo was just before transferring him to a kritter keeper.

These are the same spiders I have here that I was asking if anyone could identify. I’ve been calling them Dungeon Spiders because I usually find them in the basement. I think they are Wolf Spiders, but I have no idea really. Did you ever get an answer to the question of what kind of spiders these are, or do you know that answer?
It’s a giant house spider, they are quite common so it’s likely that’s what you’re finding. Wolf spiders have generally more robust legs and more hair.
Thanks!
