I’m not sure which Araneus species she is. For now the good news is that this is the first identified spider photo submitted from Utah to our site has for the entire Araneus genus!

Bugguide says that 2 white shallow V shapes is an indication the spider is A gemmoides. With the caveat that A illaudatus can’t be ruled out occasionally….they went with A gemmoides with the link above. What do u think….am I missing something https://bugguide.net/node/view/33149
