This spider was found covering an egg sac with its legs tucked under the body on the side of a a plastic tote box at a wooded campground. The body was about the size of a nickel.
Hi, she looks like a giant lichen orbweaver. I didn’t know that this species has golden silk. Thank you for sharing this great photo!
