Comments & ID Thoughts

I have no clue what this is, but accidentally poked the sack not even seeing it at first. Grossed me out, is it poisonous?

Hi, this is an awkward angle for an ID, dorsal is preferable. Best guess is a Hentz Orb-weaver, Neoscona crucifera but I’m not certain from this angle.

Like most spiders they have venom but are not considered to be of medical significance and are unlikely to bite except in self-defense.
