Pic taken late night in a dark damp basement, saw fiddle on it’s back. Brown recluse? About 2.5 inches from back legs to front of front legs.

Hi, this is a Southern House Spider, Kukulcania hibernalis.
Thanks Itsybitsy. That one really spooked me. It moved really slow, just like a video I saw on the web of a brown recluse. The color looked darker than all the pictures I have seen of brown recluses. I have a good collection of various species in my basement. I don’t find any wolf spiders though. I read that brown recluses like wolfs for dinner. I guess that made me a little paranoid too.
