Hi, she is probably a Tropical Orbweaver, Eriophora ravilla. There is another one from Texas that is nearby on our discussion and pictures pages. It looks different from yours. I think the ‘red and naked’ look of yours is scary too. She’s only truly a nightmare to insects and any male spider that attempts to mate with her. An orbweaver bite is said to feel about the same as a hornet sting and it is much less likely to happen than a sting. She is uninterested in humans and wouldn’t do any kind of pre-emptive attack.
