Comments & ID Thoughts

Google images search claims this is a wolf spider. However I have my doubts. First off it's color and pattern is not consistent with other wolf spiders I have seen. Secondly I've seen this same species on multiple occasions and they all are consistent with the size, shape and color of the one pictured here. It seems to be a ground spider however, I have had one jump on me as I was going down my stairs and distinctly remember web being stuck to my body after o got the spider off me. It's abdomen seems to look more like that of a tarantula. As in it looks like it made up of smaller pieces rather than the wolf spider who's abdomen looks more like one solid piece.
