Anyone have a guess what this spider is?
Possibly an Orbweaver in genus Argiope. Some of them can have a flattened appearance to the abdomen. This one is really cool! I tried various searches online and didn’t find it. Hopefully someone else will have better results. My first guess was a Fishing Spider, but I couldn’t find it that way either.
I don’t think it’s an Argiope. No Argiope has that terrifying skull painted on is head.
Hersiliidae (Two-tailed Spider). cf. Neotama sp.. Nice find. 🙂
Oh my god, thank you so much! I’m so excited to finally get my photos identified!
What surprised me was how you identified the Jumper and said it was Zebra Jumper, which I had already ruled out.
