juvenile Leucauge venusta, Orchard Orbweaver, ventral image. The dorsal side reflected the flash and the photos didn't work. It was very tiny and had a tiny orb web. There were several and they escaped easily. The web in the image attached to the strand of silk is something it made on the run.

The web stuff behind the spider might have been something that got stuck to the spider or its silk while it was escaping me.
